The Homestyle II Medicine Cabinet is sturdy and well made. I was a little worried about how mounting it to the wall, but it turned out to be very easy. You screw a wooden mounting bar to the wall and hang the cabinet on that. It would have been nice if they made a way to secure the bottom of the cabinet to the wall, but it just hangs on the mounting bar that is towards the top.

The instructions that came with the light bar are probably not from Strasser (rather the manufacturer of the lights) and assume that you are mounting them by itself. It took me a bit to realize that and that I could skip half the instuctions for the light bar.

The cabinet did not come with screws to mount it to the wall or secure the light housing or the crown molding. For the price you pay, they could include a few screws and take the guess work out of whether the ones you have will hold the weight.

I didn't realize that there are mirrors on the inside of the cabinet. Don't know if I missed it in the description, but I would have preferred it without the mirrors inside.

One feature I really like is the hinges on the doors swing in a bit as you open them. This allows you to open them so that they do not stick out past the edge of the cabinet. It helps if you have one side next to a wall. The doors also have a feature to slowly close the doors so they can't slam shut, which is nice.

If you get the 48" wide cabinet, be aware that the picture is not the 48" model, which has 5 lights. Since all models are the same height and different widths, the more narrow ones look taller. I envisioned the cabinet to look taller on our wall. The measurements are acurate, so make sure you measure.
