On the first shipment, the mirror broke en-route but the second time around it was delivered in great shape. Mirror is beautiful and I love it!!

Our mirror came with one completely broken corner, and the other 2 corners were chipped. This was not a surprise given the scanty styrofoam in the packaging. The frame was not wood, but some kind of foam. The mirror had a slight distortion, adding a few pounds to the body.
That said, Hayneedle service was very responsive. They offered me a refund for the damaged item.

The mirror is beautiful. It is quite large and a rich, dark merlot (a bit darker than it appears on line, in my opinion). The color isn't too red - works with the walnut (dark brown) pieces in the room. The unique shape makes it a real statement piece. Ordered mine for the master bedroom.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was prompt but my mirror arrived broken, which was very disappointing. I think it should have been packaged better. It is very large / awkward to move or carry in its big box and it seems a bit weak in the middle because of the curved in sides. Needs a stronger box that doesn't allow any torque on the mirror during transport. The delivery instructions the driver had also read "Contents: Leaner Wall". Might have been helpful if it hadn't cut off "Mirror" from the description! Perhaps he would have handled it differently if he'd realized what it was? Regardless, the customer service at Hayneedle is top notch and they will replace it for me, just sad to have to wait a bit longer to have the mirror.

This is a unique shaped mirror. Two years ago I saw it in the foyer of a large building and wanted one. Finally, I have it. HayNeedle had the best price. Love the deep rich merlot color, along with the size this mirror is a statement piece. Also at 65 lbs I can move it by myself. I have it leaning on the wall behind a round glass top dining table. Reflections from different angles are wonderful.

First delivery of mirror was broken. Had to return and reorder.
